Dear Cousin, I am impressed that you have posted this! Although I think you misunderstood me when I said that Jesus did not found the Roman Catholic Church as it is today. It has evolved through Councils and such; it has grown. To say otherwise would be similar to saying that Jesus was born a 33 year old man. This is why it is not the best argument for you to say that Christ did not found the Lutheran Church, only the Roman Catholic one. The Lutheran Church has grown out of Councils (and reforms), which are, in all actuality, quite similar to those of the RCC. To say that the Lutheran Church is not founded on or by Christ is to say that it is not a Church at all. --Also, you have inspired me to join the blogging world! I may have to start my own....
